How to get your Rollei 35 Refurbished

If you are considering having your Rollei 35 refurbished or fancy a colour option for your camera, we can help you.

We have a number of options for you to consider.

How Do I Make This Happen?

First select your colour top and bottom by selecting Step 1 where you will be presented with a number of colour options. Choose your colour and then move onto Step 2 (optional).
Step 2 gives you the option to choose different coloured parts/screws/lever for your camera. If you choose to skip past this step, your original parts will be used for the newly refurbished camera.
As the top and bottom of the camera are to be repainted, this requires the camera to be reskinned as a result of having to remove the back skin in order to paint. Therefore, you must select a new skin option within Step 3.
If you wish to customise the lettering on your camera, proceed to Step 4 where you are able to select a colour option. This step is optional and free of charge.
Lastly, the option to clean/ refurbish the viewfinder of your camera is available to you. By clicking into Step 5, you will find 3 different options such as a Viewfinder clean, a Viewfinder replacement (Singapore version) and a Viewfinder replacement (German version - glass only).

How Much Does it Cost?

In each option you will see prices starting from £250 for a top and a bottom to be repainted along with options for reskins starting from £40. There are various other options such as painted parts which you can see in option 2.

How Does it Work?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you shipping instructions. Once we receive the camera, we will dissemble it, undertake a basic CLA and send your top and bottom plus any parts you have specified to our ceramicist in France or Columbia depending on your order specifications.

Timescales

The ceramicists take between 8-12 weeks to paint your top and bottom parts. It then takes us a further 2-3 weeks to reassemble and reskin your camera before it is ready to return to you.

We have a number of loan cameras which we are happy to let you have for a modest rental of £7.50 a week plus postage. There is a refundable damage deposit required of £100.

Things to be Aware Of

We cannot repair things such as meters or mechanical issues as part of this service. If you require the camera to be repaired, you will need to book it in for a full CLA or meter repair. This option is available on the site in the shop.
