
SHIPPING POLICY
Film Furbish will ship your camera or item to not only the UK & Europe but to anywhere in the world. On checkout the relevant shipping costs will be applied to your item.

All cameras are shipped fully insured. In the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery and for the USA, Europe and the Rest of the World via Royal Mail utilising your National Postal Service or for faster service via Parcelforce Priority service.
​
For items other than cameras please contact me for a shipping quote as depending on the size and value of the item the costs may well be lower.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
All cameras come with a 12 month non transferable guarantee (unless specifically stated).
All cameras undergo a 15 point pre-delivery inspection and have received a full service prior to dispatch.

Returns are accepted ONLY if the camera is not as described and has been lodged within 7 days of delivery of the camera. All cameras are sent via tracked and signed shipping fully insured. You will then have a further 7 days to register return of the camera with a valid shipping/tracking number. Failure to do so will invalidate your return rights.

Refunds are for the Cameras/Accessories only, and do not include any shipping costs howsoever incurred and are subject to a £20 return charge unless agreed otherwise.
Postage costs for the return of a camera are the buyers responsibility.

All non camera items are not guaranteed but can be returned if not as described .

All refunds and returns will be subject to the deduction of charges levied by PayPal/Wix Payments which is 5.5% of the total including original postage.

Any re-importation/customs duties incurred on a return will be the responsibility of the returnee and may lead to a return being refused, or will be deducted from the refund amount due.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return
Unless they are faulty or not as described, the following cannot be returned:

At FilmFurbish, we take great care in refurbishing and testing every film camera and accessory we sell. We want you to shop with confidence, while ensuring that our policy is fair, transparent, and fully compliant with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you purchase from us online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item.
To cancel:

You must notify us in writing (email is fine) within 14 days of delivery.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
Condition of returned items under return rights:

Items must be returned in the same condition as received.

You may inspect the product as you would in a shop, but any use beyond inspection, damage, or a reduction in value may result in a deduction from your refund, as permitted under the CCR.
Refunds:

We will refund the original purchase price and standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the returned item via your payment method.

You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or not as described.

3. Condition Requirements for Returns
To protect both you and us, returned items must:

Be packaged securely to avoid damage in transit

Include all accessories, caps, straps, battery covers, manuals, roll of film (unopened) or extras supplied. Anything missing/used or damaged will be deducted from any refund.

Be returned using a tracked and insured service. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
4. Assessment of Returned Refurbished Cameras
Because we specialise in refurbished equipment, all returned items will undergo:

Functional testing

Cosmetic evaluation

Verification of serial numbers and refurbishment notes
Where a reduction in value has occurred through handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

6. Abuse of Policy
To protect our small business, we reserve the right to refuse a return where:
